Family members or loved ones can easily help save with Clanq through an invitation. The «family clan» function allows Clanq account holders to link their children’s digital piggy banks, enabling even those without a Clanq account to accumulate savings using the Clanq app.
Clanq members can see how much they have contributed to the piggy bank, but they do not have access to the savings accumulated within it. This implies that they cannot know the total amount in the piggy bank or withdraw any money. However, by using their Clanq credit card, they can get cashback on every purchase, thus contributing financially to the support of a child of the clan.

With a main Clanq account, you can create up to 5 cashback accounts for your children and invite an unlimited number of clan members to participate in the savings. Simply add the desired people via the family clan function, and they will receive an invitation by e-mail.
Clan members must also download the Clanq app, but do not need to open their own account. Instead, they can apply for a Cornèrcard credit card directly from the Clanq app using the link in the invitation.
Once the credit card is activated and the invitation accepted, the selected piggy bank is linked. From then on, each clan member automatically accumulates cashback every time they make a payment with their credit card, which will be placed in the piggy bank.
Within the Clanq app, clan members can see how much they have spent with their credit card and to which piggy bank they have contributed their cashback.
The Clanq credit card has an annual fee of CHF 100. This price includes purchase protection insurance, legal protection insurance, best price guarantee and a one-year extension of the product guarantee.
