As this is a full-service bank account, we are required by law to ask you for some information. The entire onboarding process takes about 10 minutes – then you can start using Clanq right away!
Officially? No. The app is open to everyone. But without children, Clanq is a bit like a large playground without children’s laughter: you can spend time there, but the real purpose is missing. Our features, such as the digital piggy bank and kids’ banking, are fully geared towards securing children’s futures.
For those who want to become parents: with the «safe for the future», you can already start collecting cashback before your baby is born. This gives you a head start in family life.

This means that your credit balance is subject to statutory deposit protection (esisuisse), which covers amounts up to 100‘000 CHF per customer. So you can save for your child’s future with complete peace of mind while we take care of the technology in the background.
