Throwing a few francs into the piggy bank every now and then is all well and good. But you can do a bit more to provide for your child’s future. At Clanq, we generally advise families to divide their money into several accounts with different purposes, e.g. money to save for your child in an account designated for this purpose. This way, you can see exactly how much you have available for what purpose without having to keep track of it.
Whether you want to give our savings app a chance or not is up to you to decide. If you’re looking for an app for your child’s savings, Clanq powered by Cornèr is definitely the right choice for you. We have summarised some insights about the launch here:

All our partners and their entire infrastructure are based in Switzerland or Europe. Therefore, with Clanq you have the same security as with a large bank.
Why should I subscribe to Clanq newsletter?
The sooner you start saving regularly, the better. In our newsletter you will receive tips and financial knowledge about everyday family life once a month.

Who is behind Clanq?
The idea of Clanq as a service for families came from Christina Hammer, Jean-Paul Saija and Jakob Kaya. We have incorporated our experience not only as parents, but also in banking, business management and software development into the app. We have brought Fabienne Saija, an experienced educator, onto the team to help us set up our cashback partnerships in Switzerland.
We live the financial tips we give you here ourselves and share them out of conviction and experience. In addition, there are many other important team members who work hard every day to make the Clanq app and our cashback offers even better.
Part of our team originated from the digital agency Mindnow AG and has a lot of experience in developing user-friendly products that solve real problems. The Clanq app is therefore particularly suitable for people who are not financial experts or who have little time for disciplined money management in stressful family life.
With the active support and extensive experience of Cornèr Bank, above all Luca De Santis, we are in a prime position.
